Located very close to the exclusive Highland Park area, this project site required a strong balance of sophisticated feel, yet executed at a price that made it attractive as an alternative to other nearby upscale options.  This duplex was designed so that the front facade gave the appearance of a single family home, as opposed to each unit simply being a mirror of the other.  Some of the unique design features include suspended beams over the kitchens, executed in clean lined lumber and steel.  Also, the third floor media rooms open to very private roof decks, one with a view of downtown Dallas, and the other under the canopy of a site tree, giving the feel of an adult treehouse.
